Should be a person be given a start date in a company after the background and credit checks are completed?I mean when the background and credit checks are done….then only a start date has been given..otherwise the candidate has to wait…isnt?

Credit and Background Checks on Candidates?

Those employees who illegally accessed Obama’s passport file, who I don’t agree with their actions and do agree with their punishment, they are saying that the people who accessed his file would have seen name, address birth date, and SSN and they could have potentially used that information to run a credit check and background check.
So my question is – when you apply for a job your potential employer is authorized to run your credit and do a background check for most jobs. Is that information available to the public for each candidate, should it be?
